Navneet and Gurpreet’s Beautiful Pastel Engagement Party!
You guys know that I’ve worked plenty of South Asian events/weddings over the last few years but have had the hardest time getting photos back from the photographers working those events! I am SO EXCITED to finally show off a FULL SET of beautiful images from a spectacular Punjabi engagement party from June - this super generous and thoughtful family is so near and dear to me because we share the same vibrant background and it felt like I was right back at home ❤️ Not only did they feed me lots of yummy food, I got to speak Punjabi with all of my clients and my tummy hurt from laughing SO hard with each and every one of them!
This post features a gorgeous, bubbly bride named Navneet that had the best, infectious belly laugh (you’ll see in several photos)- she and I clicked pretty well and I love following her beautiful Instagram feed featuring tons of Bhangra competition material, food, travel and her beautiful friends and family. Kassie Layne Photography and I worked together right before Saint Patrick’s Day on a GORGEOUS Irish countryside themed wedding and mannnn did it come out beautifully. Pastiche Event Productions picked me allll the way from DC - I know she had tons of great artists at her fingertips to choose from, so I am super honored that she felt I’d be perfect for this shoot.

Hey everyone!! I have such exciting news to share with you all! Glam by Jeet made it to the Top 5 finalists for the Best of the Burg contest hosted by the Freelance Star in Fredericksburg, VA annually. Last year this category didn’t even exist so I am very excited that I was finally represented and got some recognition for the work I do in the local area! I wanted to say thank you to everyone who voted for me— my goal is to be better with my skills and customer service every single day and as long as you all are feeling that, I am a really happy girl!! Voting for the top spot ends 3/18/19– let’s see who takes the crown!

Glam by Jeet 2nd Annual Client Appreciation Party!
Hey everyone! It’s been a really busy year already for us here at Glam by Jeet- we hit the ground running with tons of boudoir and other photo shoot goodness, bridal trials and appointments, as well as continuing education. I still continue to be incredibly thankful to do what I love and be around for my family at the same time- so I only see it fit to spoil the crap out of you ladies that support my dream!
This year’s client appreciation event was so much fun- existing and new clients on the books were welcome to join us! The party was held at the 718 Venue in downtown Fredericksburg on February 23, 2019 and made sure to include the best parts of a great time- music, girly cocktails, and luxury swag bags for the first 10 ladies valued at over $100! Eric Herod Entertainment spun really fun dance tunes and urban beats for us, and Suzie of Anker Mobile Bartending got alllll the ladies tipsy with her custom cocktails that she designed just for me for this event. I’m surrounded by such amazing people in my industry so I just had to share some of them with you guys!! In addition to all these amazing elements, attendees also were able to take notes/follow along a full makeup application demo on my friend Alician!! Swag bags included amazing goodies from Kylie Cosmetics, Mac Cosmetics, Tarte, Too Faced, Mario Badescu and everyone got my favorite eyeshadow blending brush from Morphe! Glam by Jeet's 1st ever Client Appreciation Bash was this past weekend!!
Hi everyone! I am so excited to share pictures from my first ever Glam by Jeet Client Appreciation Bash that was held at Stevenson Ridge in Spotsylvania on 6/24/18! It was a huge milestone for me, because 5 short years ago, I never thought I could afford to gift something to myself in the future let alone to dozens of clients! I was a mom of a young child and in the middle of a gloomy recession; the future seemed so far away and I didn't have a clear vision of what I wanted to do when I grew up. I am so glad all the little decisions and events since then led me to all of you because I have never been happier, more fulfilled or hopeful for the future! There is no stopping this girl now! For that, I am truly grateful. I would not be in such a good place in my life if I had never met every single one of you. You all have taught me, loved me, encouraged me, cheered me on, and given me purpose. I have surrounded myself with boss ladies that manage to kick ass in the industry, raise beautiful happy children and always push further for success. I just cannot thank my lucky stars enough for all of the good that is in my life now.
This bash was something I felt led to put together earlier this year in the spring. The weather was finally warming up, the sun was out a little longer every day, little blades of grass were pushing their way out of the cold ground, and a new year was literally starting to take shape. I felt a rush of thankfulness and love for everyone that has supported me on this journey and HAD to do something with that positive energy. I was finally in a place financially to set some money aside and shower you all with some great prizes, food and desserts, bubbly drinks, and cookies!! I called up my favorite venue in the whole world with the most insane views and got myself a date on the calendar and then invited all of my repeat customers, photographers that use me often or exclusively, as well as brides of large bridal parties over the last year. Its been so exciting!
I hope to continue this tradition and gather all 850+ of you in one place someday! Thank you for supporting me and making my wildest dreams come true. I love serving people and hosting this event made me so happy. Please email me if you all have any ideas for a future get together!! To my beautiful, inspiring husband Jesse- it's been a crazy road, and I hardly ever say it as much as I should, but I am thankful for you every single day. Thank you for telling me to keep pushing forward on all of those nights I wanted to give up, and for helping to raise our gorgeous baby, Gisele on all of the weekends I'm gone to work, while working towards your own huge dreams. You've taught me many things, especially to be obsessed with my business until it's successful, and then to obsess some more. To always be thankful, to always push through no matter what happens. I just love you!
To my spunky, hilarious, incredibly smart baby Gisele- thank you for putting up with a lot so that mommy can live her dream life! I do it all for you and hope to inspire you to go for your dreams all day, every day. I love you so much pumpkin <3
